Microsoft windows live team announced that windows live messenger  is getting retired and o longer maintained in world ( except china ) . windows live team sent an email to all users and informed them about that , and also recommended to upgrade to Skype .

Users can login in Skype account using windows live username and password and all windows live messenger contacts will appear in Skype
