Are you downloaded windows 8 and want to install on your computer and don’t want to burn DVD or don’t have DVD drive then use USB pen-drive to install windows 8 in your PC or laptop.
Requirements
- Windows 7 or vista running
- 8 GB USB drive
- Windows 8 DVD or ISO
Steps
- mount ISO or insert DVD
- format USB using HP USB Format tool
or if you are comfortable with diskpart then format using diskpart ( use diskpart carefully )
- open Command Prompt ( CMD)
Dump all the content from windows 8 Mounted drive to USB
xcopy x:*.* /s /e /f y:-replace X with your source Drive and Y with your target USB drive
-wait 20 25 minutes until it finish copying
Done Now use this USB to install windows 8
